In reference to the mythical Library of Alexandria, the library « La petite Alexandrie » is being built little by little, feeding off the flames of its predecessor to come to life. Starting with 1001 collections of poetry, like the Thousand and One Nights, with the noble ambition of adding 500 copies each year. Every book with a connection to poetry has a place here: collections in translation or in the original language, essays, poets’ correspondence, etc. Whether signed bibliophile publications or paperbacks, the idea is to give each verse its place on our shelves.
